Use your account to keep your contact information, saved payment methods, notification preferences, privacy choices, and account data up to date. The Account paths below are on the website. In the Naayya app, open Profile for your personal details and saved payment methods.
Update your profile#
On the website, go to Account > Profile to update your name, profile photo, contact details, and related account information. In the Naayya app, open Profile > Personal Details.
Your profile may also show studios where you have a role, teacher information, or feedback linked to your account.
Manage saved payment methods#
On the website, go to Account > Payments to view saved cards by business. In the Naayya app, open Profile > Payment Methods.
You can delete a saved card unless it is currently tied to an active membership or subscription. If a card cannot be deleted, review the membership shown next to it or contact the studio.
To add a new card, use checkout with a studio that supports saved cards.
Manage notifications#
On the website, go to Account > Profile > Settings.
You can manage:
- marketing emails
- studio-specific marketing email resubscription, when you previously unsubscribed from a studio
- phone messages from each business, as described below
Phone messages from each business#
A business sends you nothing on your phone until you have said what you want from it. Each business asks separately, and for each one you choose two things:
- Booking updates: confirmations, reminders and changes about your bookings. The business sends them on WhatsApp, or by SMS if WhatsApp isn't available. This is ticked the first time you are asked. It also covers waitlist messages when a place opens in a class you joined the waitlist for.
- News and offers: news and offers from that business, on WhatsApp or by SMS if WhatsApp isn't available. This is never ticked for you. You don't need it to book.
You are asked when you add and verify your phone number while booking or signing up. If your phone number was already verified, each business asks once, on the confirmation page of your next booking with it. If you had turned on phone booking updates before, that choice carries over where it covered both WhatsApp and SMS, and the business still asks you once. A news and offers choice from before never carries over: each business asks you for it fresh.
To change a choice later, go to Account > Profile > Settings on the website, or open Profile > Privacy in the Naayya app. Under Phone messages from businesses, each business has a Booking updates switch and a News and offers switch. In the app, the two switches read Booking updates by phone and News and offers from followed by the business name. A business shows a note while you have not chosen yet. You need a verified phone number before you can turn a switch on.
Every news and offers message ends with a Manage messages link to these settings. A booking update, including a waitlist message, has no such link. If you turn Booking updates off for a business, you get no waitlist messages from it on your phone. A waitlist email still arrives where the business has it on.
The Naayya app asks at the same moments as the website: when you verify your phone number for a business, and once on the confirmation of your next booking with a business you have not answered yet. An older version of the app still shows one SMS notifications switch. It turns off phone messages from every business at once, and turning it on does not choose for any business. Update the app to choose for each business.
If you also work at a business as staff, Work alerts by SMS and Work alerts by WhatsApp on the same page let the businesses you work at send you your own work alerts. They don't change the choices you make as a customer.
Emails that are needed to provide the service, such as booking confirmations, receipts, and account security messages, may still be sent. Phone messages are the exception: a business sends them only for the choices you have turned on.
Set your language#
In Account > Profile > Settings, choose your preferred language. This controls account and customer-facing text where translations are available.
Manage privacy choices#
In Account > Profile > Settings, use Privacy settings to manage cookie and browser-based analytics preferences.
You can also turn product analytics on or off from the same settings page.
Export or delete your account data#
In Account > Profile > Settings, use Account Data Export to request a copy of your account data. When the export is ready, the download link is shown on the same page for a limited time.
Use Delete account if you want to close your account. Naayya checks for blockers such as active subscriptions before deletion can continue. If deletion is allowed, there is a grace period before final removal.
After deletion, your personal profile information is anonymized and your login is removed. Bookings, payments, and operational records required for reporting or legal retention may remain.
The Delete account section lists what is deleted, what is retained, and what is kept as evidence. The record of each waiver or contract you signed is kept as evidence: when you signed it, and from which IP address and device. Naayya keeps it only as long as a legal claim about it is still possible in the business's country, for example 10 years in Luxembourg. The period counts from the completion of your account deletion. After that it is deleted, or the business is asked to delete it.
