Creating Packs

Create a Drop-in or a Pack, set its credits and validity, and choose the classes and services it covers

Use Admin > Pricing to create a Drop-in or a Pack. Choose Drop-in for a single class, or Pack for a set number of credits or unlimited use. A pack can cover classes, services, or both, from one balance. For the membership product type, see Creating Memberships.

Quick Start#

  1. Go to Admin > Pricing and select New pricing option.
  2. Set Type to Drop-in or Pack.
  3. Enter the Name, Description, and Price.
  4. For a Pack, choose Class Limit: Limited or Unlimited. A Limited pack shows Credits; an Unlimited pack does not use a credit count.
  5. Review Validity when the form shows it. It appears for a limited pack with more than one credit or an unlimited pack. The choices are Expires a set number of days after first use and Never expires.
  6. Choose Class coverage and, for a pack, Service coverage. Then review Offer Type and Who Can Purchase.
  7. Check the Covers line above the button, for example "Covers: all classes, no services".
  8. Select Create pricing option and check the product details before sharing its listing.

Step-by-Step Setup#

Basic Information#

Use a name that tells customers what they are buying, such as “10 Class Pass” or “Unlimited Class Pass”. Add a description that explains the classes covered and any terms you want customers to see.

Pricing & Credits#

The form shows Price for every product. A limited Pack shows Credits; an Unlimited product does not use a credit count. A Drop-in is a one-credit product and may not show Credits or Validity.

Validity period#

When the form shows Validity, choose Expires a set number of days after first use and enter the number of days, or choose Never expires. State the selected validity clearly in the customer-facing description.

Settings#

For class products, Offer Type is Standard or Intro Offer. Who Can Purchase is Everyone or Once Per Customer. The current creation form does not offer a separate Free Trial choice.

Class coverage#

Choose which classes the product books in Class coverage:

  • All standard classes is the default. It covers your active standard classes.
  • Specific classes only covers the classes you select.
  • No classes appears for a pack, except an intro offer. The pack books no classes, so use it for a pack that only pays for services.

A pack must cover something: all classes, at least one class, or at least one service. Check the product detail page before sharing the offer. See Class Coverage for Products.

Service coverage#

A pack can also pay for services. In Service coverage, tick each service the pack covers. No service is selected by default, so a pack never books a service unless you choose it.

  • Services are offered for a pack of 2 to 10,000 credits. An unlimited pack cannot pay for services, and the form says why. A drop-in has no service coverage.
  • The pack keeps one balance and one expiry. Each class place, and each person booked into a service, uses one credit. Customers see these as uses, for example "10 uses".
  • After you create the pack, its product page lists the services it covers. To add or remove a service later, open that service and edit its Linked products. See Create Services.

Start a pack from a service#

Open the service in Admin > Services, edit Linked products, and select Create a pack for this service. The form opens as a Pack with that service selected and No classes. Choose classes too if the pack should cover them.

Include a service with a pack or pass#

A pack or pass can include uses of a service that are used separately from its own credits, for example an intro offer that includes 1 contrast therapy. Owners and managers can set this up.

  1. Make sure the service has its own product linked to it: a service product, or a pack of 2 or more credits that covers the service. See Create Services.
  2. Open the pack or pass in Admin > Pricing and select Edit next to Includes.
  3. Select Add product, choose the product, and enter how many it includes, from 1 to 100. A pack or pass can include up to 10 products.
  4. Select Save.

To change what it includes later, select Edit again, change a row or remove it with the trash icon, and select Save.

What customers get:

  • Everyone who gets the pack or pass from then on also gets the included uses at no extra charge, whether they buy online, at the front desk, or you add it for them. Customers who already hold it keep what they have.
  • The included uses are used up on their own, so booking one does not use a credit from the pack or pass. When they are used, booking the service again costs its normal price.
  • They expire when the pack or pass expires, never later. If its validity starts at first use, booking with an included use starts it, the same as booking with the pack or pass.
  • A cancellation within your policy returns the use. If the pack or pass is fully refunded, its unused uses are removed and an upcoming booking made with one is cancelled.
  • Your storefront shows what it includes, for example "Includes 1 × Contrast therapy (30 min)".

Only a drop-in, pack or pass can include products. A membership cannot include services yet.

Sell a multi-session workshop as one pass#

If you use a pack for a workshop, check that the workshop sessions are scheduled and that the pack covers the intended classes. Review the customer booking flow before describing the pack as covering a series. For help choosing a format, see Workshop vs Course.

Buying a pack does not reserve every session automatically. Customers still need to book each included session, and each booking is subject to that session's capacity and booking rules.

Common Class Pack Examples#

Standard Class Pass#

Choose Pack, set Class Limit to Limited, and enter the number of Credits customers should see in the offer.

Intro Package#

Choose Intro Offer and review Who Can Purchase before sharing the product. The current form does not offer Free Trial as a separate choice.

Workshop Series#

Use a pack only after checking coverage and the customer booking flow for every session. If the offer represents enrollment in a defined run, compare the course format.

Unlimited Pass#

Choose Pack, set Class Limit to Unlimited, and then choose the product's Validity option separately.

Classes and a service in one pack#

For a partner class that can also book a private training service, choose Pack, set Credits, select the partner class under Specific classes only, and tick the private training service under Service coverage. The "Covers" line then reads, for example, "Covers: 1 class, Express Private".

Services only#

For a pack of 5 massages, choose Pack, set Credits to 5, choose No classes, and tick the massage service.

Large Value Package#

Set the Credits and Validity explicitly, and put those terms in the customer-facing description.

Pricing Strategy Tips#

Credit-to-Price Ratio#

Use the visible Price field to set the amount for the offer. The creation form does not provide a recommended price per class.

Package Size Strategy#

Choose a credit count customers can understand alongside the selected validity. Keep the number of offers small enough for customers to compare.

Validity Period Strategy#

Choose a validity that matches how often the covered classes run. State the selected validity in the product description.

Best Practices#

Naming Conventions#

Put the class count or “Unlimited” in the name when it distinguishes the offer. Use Pack and Drop-in when describing the product type to your team.

Credit Allocation#

Check Class coverage and Service coverage before promising that a pack can be used for a specific class or service. For one use of a service paid at booking, use the Single appointment type.

Validity Periods#

Use the exact Validity choice shown in the form and explain it in language customers can understand.

Category Organization#

Keep related class products easy to compare. Review their names, descriptions, coverage, and validity together before sharing them.

Changing a class pack later#

Reprice the existing class pack#

Open the existing product in Admin > Pricing and edit its Price field. Review the product details and customer-facing listing after saving.

Replace the class pack when the offer itself changes#

For a change to the offer's structure, review the product's Replace product flow and the effect on existing customer commitments before confirming. See Product Settings Guide.

After Creating Your Class Pack#

Open the product in Admin > Pricing and check its status, listing, validity, and the classes and services it covers. Confirm that the details match the offer you intend to share.

Next Steps#

Share the product's public listing after checking its name, description, validity, and coverage. For the customer-facing product page, see the public product guide.

Troubleshooting#

The product is not visible to customers: Review its status, public listing, and purchase settings.

A customer cannot use the pass for an expected class: Check Class coverage on the product detail page and the class's booking options.

A customer cannot use the pack for a service: Check the services listed on the product detail page. If the service is missing, open the service and link the pack in its Linked products.

Service coverage is not offered: Set Class Limit to Limited with 2 to 10,000 Credits.

Validity is unclear: Review the selected Validity option and the terms shown to customers.

For a membership product, see Creating Memberships.
